Hello Dear Students.

It was 1997, when I was preparing for my MBA/CAT(2nd attempt  and was a serious attempt. I attempted exactly 144 Ques in CAT. My days CAT used to be a test of 185 Questions. Got A, C, L calls.). That very year, I moved to Delhi(I am from a small town in U.P.) in order to ensure that I get better exposure w.r.to preparations. And 3 days after coming to Delhi, I found a job in Delhi. I started teaching then in Delhi at then number 1 coaching institute for CAT. There I read a poster with some beautiful lines. I copied them and learnt them. Today, when I could not search that old diary of mine, I searched Google and finally found them.

These lines are by C. W. Longenecker and they are as follows. Reading them exactly the way they are, after so many years I could not resist myself from posting them here for your benefit. These are as follows:

If you think you are beaten, you are,
If you think you dare not, you don't.
If you like to win, but you think you can't,
It is almost certain you won't.

If you think you'll lose, you're lost,
For out in the world we find,
Success begins with a fellow's will.
It's all in the state of mind.

If you think you are outclassed, you are,
You've got to think high to rise,
You've got to be sure of yourself before
You can ever win a prize.

Life's battles don't always go
To the stronger or faster man.
But soon or late the man who wins,
Is the man who thinks he can.

I made a poster of these and pasted that right in front of my study table. May be some of you may like to do the same.
